European wire rope hoist description
Multiple Braking Systems
Motor-integrated brake: primary brake.
Safety brake: As a redundant backup independent of the motor brake, it is usually installed on the high-speed or low-speed shaft of the gearbox. It reliably brakes the load in emergencies or when the main brake fails. This is a major safety feature of European-style hoists.
Overload Protection Device
Integrated electronic overload protection limit switch. When the load exceeds 105%-110% of the rated load, it automatically cuts off the hoisting power to prevent overloading.
Dual Limit Protection
Upper limit switch: Automatically stops when the hook reaches its limit position to prevent "overshooting" accidents.
Lower limit switch: Can be set as needed to prevent excessive slack in the wire rope, which could lead to rope tangling.
